Kingsley Coman Bids Farewell to FC Bayern Munich After Decade-Long Stint

French winger Kingsley Coman has announced his departure from FC Bayern Munich, ending a decade-long association with the German giants. The 26-year-old has signed a three-year contract with Al-Nassr, a financially strong club based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Coman, who joined Bayern from Juventus Turin in 2015, expressed his gratitude to all managers, coaches, teammates, and staff at the club. His greatest success with Bayern was undoubtedly the Champions League triumph in 2020, where he headed the winning goal in the final against Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon.

During his tenure at Bayern, Coman won nine Bundesliga titles and scored 72 goals in 339 matches. However, his career at the club was often plagued by injuries, which prevented him from consistently performing at the highest level.

The transfer fee for Coman's move to Al-Nassr is reported to be around €35 million (all-in), and he is expected to earn an annual net salary of over 20 million euros. The exact buyout fee for his transfer is not known, but it is estimated to be around 30 million euros.

Coman's departure from Bayern comes after several setbacks due to injuries. He made the announcement of his departure on Instagram, where he wrote that he will always carry the love, passion, and loyalty of the fans in his heart.

Joining Coman at Al-Nassr are other notable players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, João Félix, and Iñigo Martínez. The club's roster now includes three standout players on both wings, with Coman, Ronaldo, and Senegal international Sadio Mané set to light up the Saudi Pro League.

Fabrizio Romano, a reliable source of information, confirmed the move. As Coman begins a new chapter in his career, he leaves Bayern Munich with a legacy of numerous titles and unforgettable moments, including his goal in the Champions League final in 2020.

The Commission has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment, as sports-related activities, such as Kingsley Coman's transfer to Al-Nassr, have an impact on carbon emissions. In the European leagues, including the Champions League, there is a growing emphasis on sustainability, with many clubs implementing green initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint.
