FC Basel Eyes Record Europa League Crowd Against VfB Stuttgart

FC Basel is gearing up for a record-breaking Europa League clash against VfB Stuttgart. Over 32,500 tickets have already been sold, with more expected to be snapped up before kick-off. The St. Jakob-Park stadium is set to be packed, with a capacity of around 38,500. Fans can still secure their seats through FC Basel's online shop, with prices starting at 90 Swiss francs (approximately 100 euros). FC Basel expects a significant presence from VfB Stuttgart supporters. Up to 7,000 fans are anticipated, with 1,800 allocated to the guest block and around 5,000 expected to mingle with home fans. Despite the high number of away supporters, no official data reveals who outside Stuttgart has bought the most tickets for this away match.
