In a series of shocking developments, fourteen individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with a coordinated attack on the Prairieland Detention Center. The incident, which took place on July 4, involved a group dressed in black military-style clothing using fireworks to lure out correctional officers, who were then met with gunfire.

At the heart of the investigation is Benjamin Hanil Song, a former U.S. Marine Corps reservist. Song is accused of joining others in an organized attack against officers at the Prairieland Detention Center and purchasing four guns linked to the incident. He faces charges of attempted murder of federal agents and discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence. The FBI announced the capture of Song in Dallas.

One of the arrests made was John Thomas and Lynette Sharp, who are charged with helping Song abscond from the Prairieland area and evade arrest. Thomas was charged with smuggling of persons, and Sharp was charged with hindering prosecution of terrorism. Court documents suggest that Sharp offered to monitor their group chats and send money to support the operation, despite being unable to attend due to "family problems."

Meagan Morris, also known as Bradford Morris, was arrested after a traffic stop while leaving the scene. She was found with firearms, bulletproof vests, and a ballistics helmet, according to court documents. An 11th person was charged with obstruction of justice and conspiracy, while another individual was charged with hindering prosecution of terrorism.

The attack resulted in an Alvarado police officer being shot in the neck. The officer is expected to recover from the injuries. Two AR-15 style rifles were found when a Johnson County Sheriff detective stopped a car less than a mile away from the facility. The group was described as using AR-15 style rifles and wearing body armor during the attack.

This is a developing story, and more details are expected to emerge as the investigation continues. The search results do not provide specific names for all 12 individuals allegedly involved in the shooting outside the Alvarado immigration detention center on July 4. However, it is clear that this was a well-planned and coordinated attack on law enforcement officials.
