Father "Felix" intends to exhibit exclusively action sequences to his child
Spitting Games: Two Dads Playing the Field on RTL's "Bachelors"
Felix Stein, one of the two fresh faces gracing the latest season of RTL's "Bachelors," plans to only let his young lad witness the action-packed sequences from the dating show, strictly off-limits to his curious ears and eyes. "I told him, 'Daddy's at work,'" the 32-year-old spilled to Deutsche Presse-Agentur. "I also said, 'Daddy's on TV,'" ensuring his son doesn't find out from anyone else first. He hasn't bothered to explain what the show is all about, yet.
His little fella won't be hooked on the show anytime soon. "I'll make an exception for the badass stunts where I'm in the thick of it," Stein shared. "He'll probably think it's pretty cool too." For now, finding a way to keep his son entertained and unaware of the show's steamy plot and competition is an easy feat. "My kiddo is five and a half, he doesn't watch telly in the evenings or stream RTL+."
Daddy Cool Hoping to Love Again
Stein isn't the only guy diving headfirst into dating's murky waters. Cologne-based insurance specialist Martin Braun is finding his way to love on the sun-drenched shores of South Africa. Braun, alongside Stein, is a proud father - with two little girls already. Stein's been single for a shaggy five years, according to RTL, while Braun has been pulling an anguished loner for a smidge longer at three and a half years.
Time for the Lid
"I'm just on the hunt for someone to set sail with," Stein shared about his motivation. "I'm a proud single dad, and my relationship with my boy's mom is decent. Now feels like the perfect time for me to find someone and get my life in order, full steam ahead."
Tune in to catch the first episode of this seasonal tempest on Wednesday, June 18, at 8:15 PM. It's already available for streaming a week earlier on RTL+.
Last year, RTL gave the multi-man concept a spin for the first time, so the new season is referred to as "The Bachelors" in the plural on the show's latest iteration[3].
