The multi-coloured oversized sweater from Antwerp-based fashion brand Essentiel, featured in the Netflix series Emily in Paris, has become a global sensation. The sweater, which initially sold out within hours of being released, has sparked demand worldwide, with order requests coming from Asia and America.

Co-founder Inge Onsea confirmed the demand to local news channel ATV. The sweater, which has gained some exclusivity and is being considered as a collector's item, sold out on Essentiel's website after its appearance in Emily in Paris.

Inge Onsea is currently brainstorming whether or not to make the sold-out sweater a limited edition collector's piece. While there is no direct information available about a restock of the Emily in Paris Season 3 Essentiel sweater, some retailers such as Aritzia occasionally restock popular fall clothing items, suggesting that similar seasonal sweaters might return in general.

However, no specific details on a restock related to the Emily in Paris sweater have been found. To track availability or restocks precisely, monitoring official brand releases, show merchandise announcements, or social media channels of stylists linked to the show (e.g., Julia Corot Comil) may be beneficial.

Interestingly, the show's stylist chose 50 pieces from Essentiel's lookbook for the third season of Emily in Paris, with 9 being used. This isn't the first time Essentiel has been featured on the show; another sweater from the brand was worn by the character Emily in the first season, but the brand was not aware of it at the time.

Onsea has seen people selling the Essentiel jumper at twice the original price, indicating the high demand for the brand's products. With the popularity of Emily in Paris and the appeal of Essentiel's unique style, it's no wonder that the multi-coloured oversized sweater has become a must-have item for fashion enthusiasts.
