Farmer Randy Mormann Wins 'KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch' Contest
Randy Mormann, a farmer from southwest of Manchester, has won the 'KMCH, Bring My Lunch' contest. The event, currently in its eighth day, is set to run for three weeks until October 10th. Randy answered his phone correctly on the third try, winning lunch from Olive That Deli in Manchester and some goodies from the Delaware County Pork Producers.
The contest, which is exclusive to farmers in the KMCH listening area, involves a live call to a local farmer each weekday around 8 am on the KMCH Morning Show. If the farmer answers with 'KMCH, Bring Me My Lunch', they win lunch for four from a local restaurant delivered to their farm or field. Any farmer in the eligible counties can sign up for the contest on the KMCH website, or be signed up by someone who knows them, as long as they are informed about the contest. Community Savings Bank is the exclusive sponsor of the contest. Randy's win can be heard in an interview on the KMCH website.
The 'KMCH, Bring My Lunch' contest is currently ongoing, with farmers in northeast Iowa having the chance to win lunch for themselves and their crew. The contest is a fun way to engage with the local farming community and support local businesses.
