Fargo launches early Monday snow removal to clear downtown streets

The City of Fargo has announced plans for downtown snow removal starting early on Monday, December 15, 2025. Despite recent forecasts, the scheduled work will proceed to clear streets after a fresh snowfall made parking difficult in the area.

Snow clearing operations will begin at 2 a.m. on Monday, focusing first on east-west avenues between University Drive and Second Street. Priority will be given to main routes and commercial streets, with secondary roads addressed later in the day.

The snow removal aims to ease parking challenges caused by recent snowfall in downtown Fargo. Operations will continue through the early morning, with crews focusing on clearing priority areas first. Residents and visitors are advised to follow safety guidelines while the work is underway.
