"Der Clown" and the Jubilee of "SchleFaZ: The Worst Films Ever Made"

Encounter with 'The Clown' Figure Again - Farewell to the Jester: A Fond Farewell

Brace yo'selves, peeps! That's right, "Der Clown - Tag der Vergeltung," the 2005 flick, will be gracing our screens once more, courtesy of the 175th episode of "SchleFaZ - Die schlechtesten Filme aller Zeiten" - airing on Nitro, starting September 5th, every Friday at 22:15. Hosted by cult babes Oliver Kalkofe (59) and Peter Rütten (62), this satirical series' second season promises ten fresh "cinematic catastrophes," including "Zombiber," "Malibu Express," "The Mummy Strikes Back," and "Zombie Shark."

After a brief hiatus from October 10th, the series will return with four more episodes on November 28th, culminating in the grand "Clown" finale on December 19th, featuring the premiere of "Der Clown" straight from the silver screen.

Party Time at Cologne City Hall

One day before the festivities kick off, mark your calendars for September 4th, as Nitro will be hosting a bash at the Cologne City Hall. Fans will get the lowdown on "Der Clown - Tag der Vergeltung," with main characters Sven Martinek (61) and Eva Habermann (49) making an appearance.

Though "Der Clown" was a smash hit on RTL from '98 to '01 as the private eye Max Zander, the film adaptation met a sad demise at the box office in '05. But hey, who needs box office success when you've got a cult following? Now, the film is having its second chance with "SchleFaZ."

A New Lease of Life for "SchleFaZ"

The series, which had previously called Tele 5 home, has now found a new home at RTL's Nitro. According to Kalkofe, "It's the love for film, shared with our fans, that makes the series a success. It's entertaining to watch these shlocky films together, have a laugh, and have a blast. Plus, these trash films take you back to your childhood and teenage years, sparking your imagination."
