Setting New Records: Max Braune's Epic Season
The young phenom, Max Braune, has had quite a season. Five years ago, he made the move from Schalke 04 to Westender Straße and made a name for himself by making it into the professional squad from the Meidericher U19 in 2022. This season has been close to perfect for Max: In 34 competitive games (32x Regionalliga, 2x Pokal), the 21-year-old has let in only 25 goals and boasts an impressive 17 clean sheets. In March 2025, Max made history by breaking a record that's stood since the inception of the Bundesliga - going an astonishing 600 minutes without conceding a goal. Unfortunately, the streak came to an end then, but leave it to Max to make a lasting impression!
Football enthusiasts, get ready to cheer for Max Braune as he claims the title of 'Player of the Season' in the MSV Duisburg promotion season. In the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, Max's incredible performance, including 17 clean sheets in 34 competitive games, is set to put MSV Duisburg on the map in the European leagues.
