An altercation between fans prior to the match between Borussia Dortmund II and Energie Cottbus marred the third division clash on Sunday (13.04.). The incident, which involved around 200 fans, resulted in injuries and arrests. The disturbance began before the game, with fans from both sides engaging in a physical altercation. Seven individuals were found with face coverings and passive weapons, which were confiscated. Two fans were injured but left before their details could be recorded. All involved were given eviction notices and escorted out of the city around 9:30 PM under police escort. The game proceeded without further incidents from a police perspective.
