Hollywood stars have hit the streets in unison, protesting against the policies of US President Donald Trump. Trump, Ruffalo argued on the streets of Manhattan, is acting like a monarch and dictator, blatantly violating the rights of American citizens and the Constitution. "We're furious and worried, and the only way forward is for people to stand up together," said the 57-year-old, even in the pouring rain.

Kerry Washington (48, "Scandal", "Django Unchained") shared images and videos of demonstrators in Los Angeles on her Instagram. "This is what freedom looks like," she announces in a video clip as she marches alongside protesters during the "No Kings" march.

Glenn Close (78, "Fatal Attraction", "Dangerous Liaisons") provided her thoughts from Bozeman, Montana. In a social media post, she depicted protesters rallying in droves, expressing their anger and frustration.

Jimmy Kimmel (57), the reigning TV host, took his parents to demonstrate in the San Francisco area. "I'm thankful to see so many Americans taking action to support their fellow citizens," he penned on Instagram. "Love each other," he added with the hashtag #NoKings. Moby (59), the musician, encouraged his followers to take action to shield democracy. He also showed up in videos alongside protesters.

Over 2,100 cities saw citizens take to the streets. Simultaneously, protesters gathered in Washington D.C. under the "No Kings" banner, rallying against what they view as Trump's autocratic stance, during his planned military parade.
