Black Forest Moose Erwin Captured and Taken to Wildlife Park - Famous Moose Erwin Returns Home to Pforzheim Wildlife Park

A moose named Erwin, who gained fame for wandering the Black Forest, has been safely returned to the Pforzheim Wildlife Park. The moose's name was chosen through an online vote by the Ortenau district office, honouring former Minister-President Erwin Teufel.

Erwin's journey began at the Wildpark Grafenberg, where he escaped. He spent days roaming the Black Forest, causing speculation about his origin and destination. The moose was eventually captured and transported back to his original home, the Pforzheim Wildlife Park.

Initially planned to be moved to the Bavarian Forest on October 1st, Erwin will now stay in Pforzheim to rest and recover from his adventure.

Erwin, the moose who captured hearts with his unexpected wanderings, is now back in the care of the Pforzheim Wildlife Park. After a well-deserved rest, his future destination remains the Bavarian Forest.
