In a shocking turn of events, a family shooting incident occurred in Vienna on Tuesday evening. The suspected perpetrator, Nenad M., a 44-year-old Serbian man, is reported to have taken the lives of three individuals, including his own 15-year-old daughter, leaving behind a trail of sorrow and disbelief.
Nenad M., who was previously subject to a weapons ban due to an incident ten years ago, allegedly shot and injured a 24-year-old woman and her 26-year-old boyfriend. Tragically, the suspect's own 15-year-old daughter was also among the victims. The 26-year-old boyfriend was not in critical condition following the incident.
The details of the previous weapons ban, as reported by APA, were not specified in the article. However, it is known that despite the ban, Nenad M. was able to obtain a weapon.
The suspect was separated from his 44-year-old wife, who was also killed in the shooting. ORF reported that the suspected motive for the shooting, as shared by the 26-year-old, was jealousy and separation.
The suspected shooter was later involved in an exchange of fire with the police. Regrettably, Nenad M. was found dead after the confrontation.
Three additional children, aged 15, a baby, and a toddler, were present during the shooting incident. The children are currently being cared for by an aunt.
The news of the daughter's death was confirmed by the General Hospital. The 15-year-old is the daughter of the suspected shooter.
The incident has left the community in shock and mourning. Our thoughts are with the victims' families during this difficult time.
