In Pfreimd, Germany, the local administration continues to work closely with Bavarian state authorities to provide housing and support for refugees as part of regional efforts.

The renovation of the old schoolhouse in the town is progressing, with plans for a barrier-free apartment on the ground floor and rooms for a young family on the upper floor. However, no definitive decisions have been made regarding the accommodations for asylum-seekers mentioned earlier, such as the former office building in Wernberger Straße or the private residential buildings in Rosengasse and Landgrafenstraße.

Meanwhile, the municipal plans for city development and infrastructure improvements focus on enhancing public services, expanding housing availability, and upgrading transportation links and community facilities. These efforts aim to integrate newcomers effectively while supporting the overall growth and quality of life for all residents.

One such improvement is the clearing of the connecting road that runs along the highway from Pfreimd to Nabburg. Unfortunately, the section on the Pfreimd side remains uncleared. The lighting situation at the bus stop in the area of Tännesberger Straße/Wernberger Straße is also set to be addressed by the building committee in January.

In addition, an agricultural area adjacent to the existing industrial area "An der Wernberger Straße" is being planned. Approximately one hectare of land is available for interested parties opposite the access to Weihern. The land use planning in this area is under the responsibility of Gottfried Blank.

It's worth noting that asylum-seeker families are currently living in Pfreimd, with a multi-family house in Lohweg being rented by the district office.

For the most current and detailed updates, contacting Pfreimd’s city administration or local government websites is recommended, as they provide official statements and plans related to asylum-seeker accommodation and urban development projects.

Other municipal plans for city development may include policies and legislation regarding accommodations for asylum-seekers, such as the former office building in Wernberger Straße or the private residential buildings in Rosengasse and Landgrafenstraße. In the broader context of Pfreimd's general news, discussions about the accommodations for asylum-seekers continue to be part of ongoing politics and policy-making processes.
