Family member fatally shoots family members in Vienna
In the Leopoldstadt district of Vienna on Monday evening, a tragic incident unfolded that has left the community in shock. According to reports from ORF and APA, Nenad M., a 44-year-old man from Serbia, is suspected of the crime.
The suspected motive for the incident was jealousy and separation, as Nenad M. allegedly had issues with his wife leaving him and starting a new relationship with a 24-year-old man, whose identity remains undisclosed. Tragically, during the incident, Nenad M. also shot his 15-year-old daughter, who is the product of this relationship.
The current status or whereabouts of Nenad M. are unknown, and details about the nature of the incident have not been released. It is known, however, that a weapons ban was imposed on Nenad M. about ten years ago following an incident with his wife. Despite this ban, he was able to obtain a weapon and commit this heinous act.
The 15-year-old daughter, along with a baby and toddler, were present during the incident. Thankfully, they are currently being cared for by an aunt. It is important to note that the baby and toddler are not related to Nenad M.'s wife but to the 24-year-old man.
