Fall Season to Feature Significant Projects by Taylor Sheridan

The much-anticipated Rip and Beth Yellowstone spin-off, originally scheduled for a November 2025 release, has been pushed back to 2026, officially titled The Dutton Ranch for now. However, there are indications that the final title could differ[1][2][4][5].

Paramount delayed the release without offering an explicit reason during their Q2 2025 earnings call. It is believed that the delay is due to strategic planning for the franchise's multiple shows' release windows in 2026, as several other Yellowstone spin-offs, including Marshals and The Madison, are launching close together in the same year[1][4].

The spin-off will focus on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler in the present day, continuing after Yellowstone Season 5's events. It is said to share the most narrative DNA with the original show compared to other spin-offs[3]. However, although the series was rumored to be titled Dutton Ranch, actor Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) confirmed this might not be the final title[3][5].

Meanwhile, no official explanation was provided for the delay in the release of the spin-off. Other shows in Taylor Sheridan's universe, such as Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King, are moving forward.

Edie Falco is joining Mayor of Kingstown for its fourth season. The show centers on a character who plays both sides of the law to do right by his family and community. Jeremy Renner stars in the show, and new episodes are expected to follow weekly after its premiere[6].

The fourth season of Mayor of Kingstown is scheduled for October 2025. The second season of the Billy Bob Thornton-led show Landman has been delayed from its previously planned November premiere to some time in December[7].

Sylvester Stallone stars in the upcoming dramedy series, Tulsa King. New episodes of Tulsa King are expected to follow weekly after its September 21, 2025, premiere on Paramount+[8]. No information has emerged about when the Rip and Beth Yellowstone spinoff will begin filming.

No specific date for the second season of Landman has been shared. Taylor Sheridan's universe of shows is expanding with three new projects planned for autumn 2025[9].

Paramount has not yet officially confirmed the fourth season of Mayor of Kingstown[10]. Despite the delays and uncertainties, fans of these shows can look forward to an action-packed autumn filled with new episodes.
