Flames Strike Again: Left-wing Extremists Attack Amazon and Telekom

Early Tuesday morning, the chaos began in Lichtenberg and Britz. Blazes erupted at various locations in both districts, engulfing vehicles from Telekom and Amazon. At around 2:56 AM, the authorities were called to Buchberger Street, Lichtenberg, where 17 Telekom vehicles on a parking lot were ablaze. Simultaneously, about 2:59 AM, 19 Amazon transporters were in flames at several locations in the Koppelweg, Britz.

Despite immediate intervention, the vehicles burned out, leaving behind charred remnants and extensive damage from the heat and flames. The operations were brought under control after about an hour in both locations. The fire department had to use spreaders and flex to combat the flames, but the cars were reduced to ashes.

An estimated 100 emergency services were on the scene at both fires, and thankfully, no one was injured.

Just a few days ago, transporters of Amazon and the German Post went up in flames in Schönwalde-Glien (Havelland)

So, why is this happening?

The culprits behind these arson attacks view Amazon and Telekom as integral components of a militarized infrastructure that supports state and global military systems. According to claims made by the extremist groups responsible for the attacks, Amazon's cloud services aid the Israeli military, while Telekom provides technological infrastructure to border authorities, police, and intelligence services—all seen as integral to "the state and global military system." They argue that these companies benefit from and actively promote global militarization.

Remember the recent demonstrations that accompanied Amazon's new location opening in the East Side Tower on Warschauer Street (Friedrichshain)? The arsonists referred to this event as well, writing, "Instead of a champagne reception, we provide charred vehicle wrecks for the ceremonial opening of the Amazon Tower."

The deputy chairman of the Police Trade Union (GdP) in Berlin, Thorsten Schleheider, expressed strong disapproval: "The arson attacks on Telekom and Amazon fit seamlessly into the recurring senseless acts against such companies."

The extremist groups behind the arson attacks view Amazon and Telekom as critical components of a militarized infrastructure, supporting state and global military systems. Their claim is that these companies, Amazon's cloud services aiding the Israeli military and Telekom providing technological infrastructure to authorities, police, and intelligence services, are integral to the "state and global military system."

These acts of arson against Amazon and Telekom align with the recurring senseless acts against such companies, as stated by the deputy chairman of the Police Trade Union (GdP) in Berlin, Thorsten Schleheider.
