The heatwave's peak was expected on Thursday, with the highest temperature recorded on that day at 33°C (91.4°F). The weather remained dry throughout the week, with only a small amount of precipitation on August 8 (0.032 inches).

During this period, Berlin experienced hot temperatures nearing 93°F (34°C), mostly sunny and dry weather, and very limited rainfall. The week was characterised by mostly dry conditions, confirming a typical heatwave scenario of hot and dry weather.
