Syd Sydney Sweeney: "I Feel Like I'm Tormenting Julianne Moore"
Compassionate feelings towards Julianne Moore are present - Expressing sympathy for Julianne Moore
Hey there!
You know the young gun tearing up Hollywood? Yep, that's Sydney Sweeney (27) we're talkin' 'bout. She's the flexible American actress stringin' up impressive performances. But she ain't kiddin' when she says she feels "batshit crazy" about it. Her peers can't help but feel for her.
Sweeney's latest flick, "Echo Valley" (streamable from June 13 on Apple TV+), is makin' the rounds, and she recently swung by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" for a chat. And let me tell you, the actress spilled the beans about flippin' emotions on set.
When ol' Jimmy Fallon (50) asked if she retreats to her trailer to prep for a tough scene, then stalks back to set in character, Sweeney laughed, "Nah, I just dive on in and out. Kinda crazy." She said she switches her emotional state faster than the Tide commercials during football halftime shows.
Jimmy was all, "You're happy, laughin' and crackin' jokes, then... ", trailed off with a look of disbelief. Sweeney interrupted, "And then they yell 'Action!' and I'm all hollerin' and ballin' my eyes out."
"I'm Evil Incarnate"
In "Echo Valley," Sweeney drove home her wide emotional range, especially in her interactions with her on-screen mammy, played by Julianne Moore (64). Moore's a bubbly, light-hearted lady, which made Sweeney feel guilty during their intense showdowns. As she put it, "I'm as evil as they come. I'm real fuckin' evil, y'know."
"Echo Valley" finds Oscar-winner Julianne Moore playin' Kate, a woman desperate to reconnect with her disturbed daughter Claire (Sweeney). One day, Claire freaks out and shows up at Kate's doorstep reeking of some stranger's blood. The flick then explores just how far mommy dearest would go to rescue her kiddo.
"I Feel Bad for Her"
Sweeney's praised Moore and considers workin' with her a dream. But when it comes to those fiery scenes, the actress admitted she feels like she's tormentin' him beloved co-star. In an article from Vanity Fair, Sweeney gushed that "Julianne was so warm and gracious off-screen," but their characters sure didn't reflect that[1].
