Neuwied Music School Invites Public to 'Weeks of Open Lessons' in June
Music enthusiasts across Neuwied have a unique opportunity from June 10th to 20th, as the city's Music School unveils its annual "Weeks of Open Lessons." This event caters to individuals of all ages, allowing them to observe various musical lessons free of charge, without the need for registration. Visitors can experience the live sounds of a range of instruments, from the ethereal tones of a bassoon to the melodic strains of a violin.
Interested parties can refer to the music school's schedule and drop in at their convenience. On Saturday, June 14th, an "Open Door Day" will be held, offering a chance to try out a selection of instruments, including the violin, drums, clarinet, and piano. The teaching staff will be on hand to offer personal guidance in selecting the ideal instrument. Online registration is available until June 9th, but walk-ins are welcome until 2 pm on the day. The day's events commenced at 10 am with a performance by students titled, "Platform of Young Artists," offering insights into their musical development.
All activities will take place at the Volkshochschule Neuwied, located at Heddesdorfer Straße 33. Admission is complimentary.
