Thomas Müller Makes MLS Debut for Vancouver Whitecaps
Thomas Müller, the renowned German footballer, made his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut for Vancouver Whitecaps on August 17, 2025, coming off the bench in the 61st minute during a 1-1 draw against Houston Dynamo at BC Place Stadium.
After a 17-season career at Bayern Munich, Müller signed with the Whitecaps earlier in August 2025. During his time at Bayern, he won numerous titles and scored 250 goals in all competitions.
Müller joined the Whitecaps team just three days before his debut, and the focus was on integrating him quickly into the team dynamics. Head coach Jesper Sørensen highlighted Müller's understanding of positioning and defensive spaces as key strengths.
