About the Author
Jeff, our trailblazer, is equal parts marine biologist, wordsmith, and underwater photographer. He holds a Masters in Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering from the University of Hawai'i-Manoa, where he spent time studying the changes in venom composition of cone snails. He went on to publish a peer-reviewed article on predictors affecting the species composition found on blackwater dives in Pacific Science. His underwater photography has graced the pages of countless publications and placed in 13 international competitions. These days, Jeff calls Kona, Hawai'i, home and enjoys traveling internationally whenever he can get the chance.
