Classic Mario RPG Games Now Available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers can now enjoy two classic Mario RPG titles: Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, originally released on the SNES.
In Paper Mario (N64), players join Mario on a humorous, action-filled adventure as he crosses the border to the lands of Beanbean Kingdom to save Princess Peach's voice, which has been stolen by the evil Cackletta and her assistant, Fawful.
Meanwhile, in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach, and Mario and Luigi team up to rescue her. This game is part of the SNES collection accessible through Nintendo Switch Online, making it available to subscribers of both the base and Expansion Pack.
These games are considered the classic Mario RPGs now playable via the service. No new Mario RPG additions for Switch Online or Expansion Pack beyond these two have been announced in the latest updates.
The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership offers more than just classic Mario RPG games. It also grants access to free DLC for select games and additional benefits.
