Exploration of Bob Dylan's personal development during his early years documented in the upcoming Bootleg Series release titled "An Auditory Portrayal of an Artist's Self-Discovery"

Bob Dylan's latest release in his Bootleg Series, Bootleg Series Volume 18: Through The Open Window, 1956-1963, is set to be released on October 31. This latest compilation offers fans a unique glimpse into Dylan's early years in the burgeoning folk scene of New York's Greenwich Village.

The eight-disc version of Bootleg Series Volume 18 contains 139 tracks, 48 of which are previously unreleased performances. The collection includes rare and unheard home recordings, studio outtakes, and live renditions. A complete recording of Dylan's show at Carnegie Hall in October, 1963, is included in the eight-disc version.

Sean Wilentz, an author and historian, wrote the liner notes for Bootleg Series Volume 18. Wilentz describes the album as an "aural record of an artist becoming himself" and a "living connection between the past and the present".
