TIME's 2025 TIME100 List Recognizes Global Leaders
TIME, a global media brand, has unveiled its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. This year's list, presented by premier partner Booking.com, reaches over 120 million people through the magazine and digital platforms.
The 2025 TIME100 list includes individuals from 32 countries, with the oldest person being Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, at 84 years old. The youngest person on the list is Olympic swimmer León Marchand, who is just 22 years old.
Notably, Donald Trump appears on the list for the seventh time, more than any other person this year. Other repeat entrants include Elon Musk (six), Mark Zuckerberg (five), Serena Williams (three), Lorne Michaels (three), Simone Biles (three), and many more. The list also includes six members of the Trump Administration.
This year's list also highlights nine leaders who are fighting for justice, equality, and democracy, at a moment when the rights of so many are at stake.
The 2025 TIME100 Summit will take place in New York City on April 23, and the TIME100 Gala will air as a primetime television special on ABC on May 4. The television special will be created by TIME Studios and produced in partnership with P&G. The 2025 TIME100 Gala will present a TIME Impact Award to Olympic gymnast and advocate Simone Biles.
The list features pairings of the list members and the guest contributors TIME selects to write about them. Some of the individuals on the 2025 TIME100 list include Shonda Rhimes, Will Ferrell, Aly Raisman, Michelle Yeoh, Gloria Steinem, Noah Kahan, Amy Poehler, Derek Jeter, Chris Evans, Hoda Kotb, Jorge Ramos, Patti LuPone, Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Murphy, Elliot Page, Ali Wong, Diane Sawyer, Lily Collins, Keke Palmer, Regina King, Ted Danson, Becky G, Baz Luhrmann, Reese Witherspoon, and more.
The 2025 TIME100 list also includes 16 corporate CEOs, a record, and a sign of the emergence of a class of business leaders who are filling a leadership void.
The 2025 TIME100 issue has five worldwide covers, each highlighting a member of the TIME100: Demi Moore, Snoop Dogg, Serena Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Demis Hassabis. The 2025 TIME100 Gala will be hosted by Snoop Dogg, and will feature performances by Ed Sheeran and Myles Smith.
