Chillin' with the "Hit-Tresor" Contest
Get ready, folks! The "Hit-Tresor" contest is sweeping across local radios in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), courtesy of RADIO NRW GmbH. With an average of 1.45 million listeners per hour (source: ma 2025 Audio I, basis: German-speaking population aged 14 and above), this is a contest you won't want to miss!
But hold up, not every NRW local station is jumping on board. So, let's see if your station made the cut!
This contest isn't connected to Facebook or Google in any way. It's all about exciting radio action and the thrill of competition. Oh, and by the way, as a listener, your information will go to RADIO NRW GmbH, not ol' Mister Zuckerman or Google guy.
So, What's the Dealio?
To enter the contest, simply call the number 01371 - 36 50 50. A call costs 14 cents from all German networks (landline and mobile).
The contest starts on June 23, 2025, and runs until July 4, 2025, every weekday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. RADIO NRW reserves the right to discontinue the action at any time without giving reasons.
During the early morning and morning shows of your local station, three different titles from the "Hit-Tresor" action will be hidden. They'll be acoustically marked on-air, so you'll know when you've stumbled upon one! The titles and musicians are announced and a hint is given to help you recognize these hidden gems.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to remember the title or musician of each of the three hidden tracks. Once all three tracks have been played, a call signal will be given. Rush to call the hotline before the start of the news at 9:00 or 14:00. Leave your name and callback number on the telephone platform. One lucky caller will be randomly selected to play a fun, in-depth quiz with the game host. If you correctly name all three songs, you'll win 2x2 tickets for the AC/DC concert on July 8 in Düsseldorf. The tickets will be delivered to your mailbox! No cold, hard cash or ticket re-sales, please.

- If you're not receiving the program via UKW or cable, it might be slightly delayed due to technical reasons. This could affect your chances of winning, so be patient!
- A telecom service provider sets up a specialized telephone platform for RADIO NRW GmbH during the contest period. By dialing the number provided on-air and online by the NRW local radios, all callers will reach this platform. Once connected, you'll have the opportunity to register for the current round. Register with your personal details (first name, last name, and callback number). If the telephone platform reaches its capacity limits, you'll hear a busy signal, but don't worry, try again at a later time. One caller will randomly be chosen for the current round, and each round can have only one winner. Each round may be recorded shortly before broadcast, and RADIO NRW reserves the right to edit the round for added drama.
The Show Must Go On
RADIO NRW reserves the right to record calls with winners/participants and broadcast them, mentioning the winner's/participant's name, to serve the legitimate business interest in effective external presentation and entertainment. These calls may be recorded at a later time for quality assurance purposes.
Additionally, RADIO NRW might create audio, photo/image/video, and/or text promotions featuring winners. These materials will be used to promote this or future program actions on radio and online on the local radio stations' websites.
Beware the Fine Print
- Only adult natural persons are eligible to participate, and minors are excluded from the contest. RADIO NRW reserves the right to verify the age of the winner before handing over the prize. If a winner is found to be a minor, the prize will not be paid out.
- Employees of RADIO NRW GmbH, the NRW local radios, their immediate family members, and anyone involved in implementing the action are not eligible to participate.
- If there's any doubt or discrepancies, the game leadership will decide based on their best knowledge and conscience. There's no legal recourse.
- Changes and/or additions to these terms and conditions require written form to be effective. This also applies to the waiver of the written form requirement. If one or more of these conditions are wholly or partially invalid, ineffective, or unenforceable, a valid clause of similar intent will take their place. The remaining conditions remain effective. The same applies if there is a regulatory gap.
- By participating, you consent to RADIO NRW storing the necessary personal data (name, first name, telephone number, and email address) for the contest's duration and using them exclusively for prize determination and processing the win. The data will be deleted after the contest's end, and it will not be shared with third parties.
- You have the right to request information from RADIO NRW at any time about the data stored about you, its origin, recipients, or categories of recipients to whom this data is transmitted, and the purpose of storage (§ 34 BDSG; Art. 15 GDPR). You also have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing of your data if the legal requirements are met (§ 35 BDSG; Art. 21 GDPR). The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the objection remains unaffected. You are also entitled to request the correction, deletion, or blocking of your personal data, insofar as no legal provisions preclude this (§ 35 BDSG; Art. 16, 17 GDPR).
