Experience the elevated collaboration between Yungblud and Aerosmith in their latest hit, 'My Only Angel'
Aerosmith, the legendary hard rock band, and British artist Yungblud have joined forces to release a new single titled 'My Only Angel'. This marks Aerosmith's first original release in over 12 years and comes after their retirement from touring last summer due to frontman Steven Tyler injuring his vocal cords.
The collaboration between Steven Tyler, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, and Yungblud results in a fusion of hard rock, electric guitar, a steady beat, rumbling bassline, and soft piano. The lyrics, such as 'Will you cry if I called you my angel?/ Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you one more time', add an emotional depth to the song.
'My Only Angel' is the first single from an EP called 'One More Time', which features four original tracks co-written by Aerosmith and Yungblud. The EP, produced by Matt Schwartz, also includes a 2025 mix of Aerosmith's classic song 'Back In The Saddle'.
The official music video for 'My Only Angel' will premiere on YouTube at 4pm BST today. The EP 'One More Time' is set to be released via Capitol Records on November 21.
The EP cover artwork for 'One More Time' was designed exclusively by Chrome Hearts' Joe Foti. The collaboration between Aerosmith and Yungblud has been described by Steven Tyler as 'plugging into pure electricity' and 'a cosmic collision'. Tyler also mentioned that working with Yungblud reminded him of the feeling he had when Aerosmith first started.
Yungblud has spoken to NME about the impact Ozzy Osbourne has had on him since childhood. This collaboration could be seen as a tribute to the legacy of Ozzy Osbourne, given that they performed together at the 2025 MTV VMAs to pay tribute to the rock legend.
In June, Yungblud released the first part of his double fourth album 'Idols'. This collaboration with Aerosmith is yet another exciting development in Yungblud's music career.
In the past, Yungblud has joined forces with members of Extreme, Sleep Token, and others to perform at Black Sabbath's 'Back To The Beginning' farewell show. It seems that Yungblud's love for rock music and his connections within the industry have led to this unique collaboration with Aerosmith.
Fans of both Aerosmith and Yungblud are eagerly awaiting the release of 'One More Time' on November 21. This collaboration promises to bring together the best of both worlds, blending the timeless sound of Aerosmith with the fresh energy of Yungblud.
