"Experience Private Pools Rental Service through 'Airbnb for Pools': My Examination of Its Value"

Kick back and relax in someone's backyard pool - all for an affordable price!

Hear ye, hear ye! We've found an absolute gem for ya! Check out Swimply, the groundbreaking app that turns strangers' backyards into your own personal pool paradise, rentable by the hour. Fancy a game of tennis, basketball, or pickleball instead? Swimply's got you covered there too!

To find out if it was worth the dough, I took the plunge (pun intended) and snagged myself a poolside day on Swimply. My humble abode sans pool left me yearning for a poolside dip, so I noshed on some sunshine before it faded away.

The pool I picked was a steal at $60 an hour, nestled in Matraville, about half an hour's drive from Bondi, where I reside. Relaxation called, and I answered.

Upon arrival, I felt a smidge of apprehension, standing at a suburban home with no sign of a pool. I double-checked the address and, once inside, felt a wave of relief, soon lounging amidst the cool white tiles, swaying trees, and tranquil water. I lounged, snacked, and quandried (equally mistaking the wine glass for a tap water glass, oopsie!).

In true swimstyle, I alternated between cooling off, getting work done, and devouring a novel till the 4 PM bell tolled. Capping off my pool day, I washed up the cheeseboard, knife, and glass before hightailing it outta there.

A post-pool email cropped up, allowing me to pen a review of the pool and host.

Would I toss a lifeline (or rather, a review) back to Swimply? With bells on! Poolside R&R is one of my fave ways to unwind, and Swimply offers an affordable means to dive into the pool life, even without my own.

So, gather your swim gear and book a pool or court for your long April weekend! Rates start at just $15 an hour in Australia.
