Wolves feed in the dark in the Schorfheide - Experience 'Night Feeding of Wolves in the Dark' Tonight at Schorfheide Wildlife Park
Tonight, the Schorfheide wildlife park hosts a unique nocturnal event, 'Night Feeding of Wolves in the Dark'. Starting at 8:00 PM, visitors can join a lantern procession to witness the feeding of wolves and other local wildlife. The event aims to raise awareness for these creatures and offers a range of activities.
The evening begins with a procession to the feeding stations, where deer, otters, and wolves will be fed. A lecture about wolves is also planned. This event is part of the traditional Hirschfest, which starts on Sunday at 9:00 AM and includes music, crafts, face painting, and further feedings. Visitors can even hand in collected acorns and chestnuts to receive a red deer sponsorship and an annual park pass.
Currently, the deer are in rut, and visitors might hear them roar. Food and drinks will be provided during the fire show, which is planned for around 10:00 PM.
