Expanded New Era partnership officially appoints Josh Allen of the Bills as 'Director of Billustration'; aiming to boost community involvement

Josh Allen, the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, has deepened his partnership with New Era Cap, taking on a new role as Director of Billustration and becoming the first ambassador to receive an investment stake in the company.

In his new position, Allen will blend his love for football and the city of Buffalo by giving back to his community through exclusive 9FORTY Billustration Team Caps. The caps, designed by Allen himself, will be worn by him during his tunnel walks at each Bills home game. Nine unique versions of the cap will be custom-designed by patients at Oishei Children's Hospital (OCH), with each cap being auctioned off after the game, with the proceeds going to the Patricia Allen Fund. This fund supports critical care services for children and families in Western New York.

The initiative is a collaboration between Allen, Oishei Children's Hospital, and the Patricia Allen Fund, reflecting Allen's commitment to giving back to the Buffalo community. Chris Koch, CEO at New Era, expressed excitement about deepening their partnership with Allen and expanding their future together.

Allen's new role demonstrates a deepening connection between him and the community, as well as a commitment to philanthropy. By wearing caps designed by children and supporting local healthcare initiatives, Allen is reinforcing his status as a community figurehead.

The partnership highlights New Era's strategic approach to engaging with influential athletes and supporting local communities through creative and impactful initiatives. Allen's statement about Buffalo being home and giving back to the community through his partnership with New Era was made in a press release announcing the expanded partnership.

Allen's focus remains on winning the Super Bowl with the Buffalo Bills. In a separate report, Allen stated that he would trade "Next 10 MVPS" for a Super Bowl victory with the Bills.

Allen's designs for New Era Cap have not been previously mentioned. Allen showcased some of his designs in a two-minute film at the New Era corporate offices. Allen's new role as Director of Billustration at New Era Cap has been in place since his rookie season in 2018.

The collaboration is a testament to Allen's dedication to both football and his community, and it is expected to strengthen New Era's core values to be a progressive, authentic, and disruptive brand.

In the expanded partnership, Josh Allen, the Director of Billustration at New Era Cap, intends to merge his passion for football and philanthropy by creating exclusive 9FORTY Billustration Team Caps, designed in collaboration with patients from Oishei Children's Hospital. These unique caps, worn during Allen's home games, will be auctioned off post-game, with the proceeds benefiting the Patricia Allen Fund, a local healthcare initiative in Western New York.
