Exclusive Viewing of F1 Film Arranged by SOFTSWISS
SOFTSWISS, a leading provider of software solutions for the iGaming industry, has recently become involved in the promotion of the highly anticipated movie, F1: The Movie. The company, based in Malta, treated its partners and clients to exclusive premiere screenings of the film in São Paulo, Brazil, and Valletta, Malta.
The high-octane blockbuster, directed by Joseph Kosinski and distributed by Apple TV+, was released in US theaters on June 27. However, SOFTSWISS's global clients and partners were given the opportunity to watch the movie a week earlier, on July 4.
F1: The Movie follows the thrilling world of Formula 1 racing, with Brad Pitt starring as a veteran driver mentoring a young talent played by Damson Idris. The racing scenes in the movie were shot during actual Grand Prix weekends, adding to the film's authenticity.
Rubens Barrichello, a former Formula 1 driver and now non-executive director of SOFTSWISS for Latin America, originated the idea for the company to support F1: The Movie. Barrichello, who is still actively participating in racing competitions, is also assisting SOFTSWISS in partner engagement, knowledge transfer, domain development, and regional growth.
One of the highlights of the events was a personal video greeting from Barrichello, where he shared some interesting memories about Formula One and highlighted the connections between racing and the tech industry. He also identified key parallels between iGaming and competitive driving in a reaction video shared by SOFTSWISS before the event.
SOFTSWISS made an effort to deliver a unique experience to every visitor by rolling out red carpets, delivering champagne towers, and creating special photo zones inspired by the film. The company's involvement in the promotion of F1: The Movie is a testament to its commitment to providing exceptional experiences to its partners and clients.
Online gambling in Brazil became legal as of January 1, 2025, and similar trends are being announced in other countries in the region. The success of F1: The Movie, both in terms of box office sales and critical acclaim, is expected to have a positive impact on the iGaming industry, particularly in Latin America.
