Mario Kart Tour's 2025 Summer Tour: A Neon-Lit City Racing Adventure

The Summer Tour event in Mario Kart Tour is currently underway and will continue until July 13, bringing a vibrant, urban night racing atmosphere to the popular mobile game. This event features high-speed city races with neon-lit roads and new karting challenges, adding a fresh twist to the races.

During the Summer Tour, players can unlock various in-game rewards by completing challenges. Completing Summertime Challenges 1 and 2 from June 29 to August 10 rewards players with Mario (Classic), while completing Premium Challenges during the same period rewards Metal Mario.

The event also includes new courses, such as the GBA Cheep-Cheep Island course. City courses will be available during specific time periods and take place every two weeks. The favored courses for Mario (Swimwear) and Rosalina (Swimwear) are the third course of every cup during the Summer Tour, while Daisy (Swimwear) favors the second course of every cup.

A special event, the Pirate Pipe, will be available from July 3 at 11 p.m. PT until July 8 at 10:59 p.m. PT. During this event, players can find additional drivers, karts, and gliders, including Nabbit, King Bob-Omb, and Bowser Jr. (Pirate).

The Summer Tour event features a new driver outfit for Mario (Samurai), a new kart (Quickshaw), and a new glider (Red Emblem). These items can be found in the Lakitu Cup at 100CC difficulty.

In-Game Purchases are optional in Mario Kart Tour, but require a persistent internet, compatible smartphone, and Nintendo Account. Data charges may apply. Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass subscription is sold separately. Terms apply. See the game for details.

With a Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass subscription, players can earn enough Grand Stars to receive Daisy (Driver), Gold Cheep Snorkel (Kart), and Flower Glider (Glider) as Tour gifts. The included Tour gifts for all players are: Koopa Troopa (Driver), Cheep Charger (Kart), and Piranha Plant Parafoil (Glider).

The Summer Pipe 2, featuring Mario (Swimwear) and Rosalina (Swimwear), includes the Cheep Snorkel kart, Blue Soda kart, Great Sail glider, and Silver Manta Glider. Summer Pipe 1 features Daisy (Swimwear) and includes the Sunny Surf Sailer kart and Sunny Surf Master glider.

From June 29 to August 10, there is a Summertime Celebration with bonus rewards. This celebration is part of a wider Summertime event that includes the Summer Tour and the Pirate Pipe event.
