Exceptional Night Ahead for Dresden City Festival's Record-Breaking Run
Dresden City Festival Night Run 2025: A Record-Breaking Event
Get ready for an exciting night of running as the Dresden City Festival hosts its annual Night Run in 2025. The event, set to take place on August 15, promises to be a memorable one with a record-breaking number of participants.
The 11.5km route of the run heads towards the iconic Blue Wonder and turns back at the same location, offering a picturesque view of the city lit up at night. For those looking for a shorter run, there's a 6.2km route that goes up to the Waldschlösschen Bridge.
The start and finish of all runs are located at Terrassenufer, near the former Carol Bridge, which is also the venue for the World Transplant Games happening around the same time (August 17–24, 2025) at the International Congress Center Dresden and Stadtforum Dresden.
The Dresden City Festival Night Run offers runs for all ages. The 6.2km and 11.5km runs are open to adults, while the little ones can participate in the 1.8km run or the 400m run, each starting at 8:00 PM and 7:15 PM respectively.
