It's not just about the potential championship party for the Berlin Foxes; there's already cause for celebration. Their young, talented coach, Jaron Siewert, is about to be crowned as the 🏆 Coach of the Season 2024/25 in the Daikin Handball Bundesliga.

This prestigious award, chosen by his fellow coaches and the HBL's management, will be presented to Siewert by Managing Director Frank Bohmann before the game against VfL Gummersbach, with the coach blissfully unaware of the recognition.

Bob Hanning, the Berlin Foxes' Managing Director, smiles, stating, "Jaron has earned every bit of this 'Coach of the Season' title. He's consistently tackled the season's challenges, focusing on solutions, not problems."

Sports Director Stefan Kretzschmar of the Foxes adds, "I'm super proud and ecstatic for Jaron! He's an amazing individual, a pleasure to work with, who's developed a fantastic team concept. He's a team manager who keeps our diverse bunch together."

With a youthful age of 31, Siewert stands as the league's youngest head coach, and he's been steering the Foxes' development for five seasons now. Originally a native Berliner, his coaching career boasts impressive achievements despite being cut short early due to an active playing career that ended in his early twenties. He climbed the ranks as a coach with the Foxes, guiding various youth age classes.

In the 2017/18 season, Siewert took over the then second-division team TuSEM Essen, leading them to the Bundesliga in 2020. Since becoming the Berlin Foxes' coach, the team has never finished lower than third place. Under his guidance, they won their first title – the European Cup – in 2023.

This season, Siewert has been continually pushing the boundaries, developing the team and captivating fans with dynamic, attractive handball. In the last 13 league games, the Foxes have scored over 30 goals, showcasing the strongest offense in the league. 🔥🔥🔥
