Exam Dates for IB Security Assistant Position Set for September 29 and 30, 2025: Review Exam Timings, Arrival Times, and Essential Items for Exam Room
The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has announced the recruitment process for 4,987 posts of Security Assistants/Executives (SA/Exe). The official notification for this recruitment, including the complete schedule for online registration, has been released.
Candidates can apply on the official website www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in from 26th July 2025. The last date to apply is 17th August 2025 (11:59 PM), and the last date to pay the application fee is the same.
The recruitment process consists of two written tests, Tier-1 and Tier-2, followed by an interview. The IB Security Assistant Tier-1 Exam dates have been set for 29th and 30th September 2025. The Tier-2 exam dates will be announced later.
To manage a large number of candidates, the exam will be conducted in four shifts. Candidates can check their shift timings on the IB Security Assistant city intimation slip, which was released on 15th September 2025. The exam will be conducted in multiple centers across India.
The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) is responsible for the selection of candidates for positions such as IB Security Assistant/Executive Recruitment 2025. The IB SA Admit Card for IB Security Assistant 2025 will be released 7-10 days before the exam.
Candidates can check their exam date and city details through the city intimation slips. It is essential to note that the application process for IB Security Assistant 2025 is now closed. The Last Date to Submit Fee via SBI Challan for IB Security Assistant 2025 is 19th August 2025.
