A Premier League legend is egging on Bruno Fernandes to join him at Al-Hilal.

Jaw-dropping negotiations for the Manchester United captain's move to the Saudi Arabian club took place last week, with a whopping £100 million offer on the table and a three-year tax-free deal worth an eye-watering £200m. The talks continue this week with both Al-Hilal and Man Utd involved. There are reports that Fernandes is seriously considering a switch from Old Trafford [Source 1].

A diner in an unspecified location recently hosted Fernandes and Cancelo, sparking rumors that the duo were discussing a potential reunion at Al-Hililah. Some pundits even suspect Cancelo was serving as Fernandes' secret agent in the process [Source 3].

When asked if Fernandes' post-season friendly against Hong Kong last Friday was a goodbye game, Ruben Amorim declined to confirm, stating, "I don't know for sure, nobody knows, but I don't think so." He went on to express Fernandes' desire to remain at Manchester United, indicating that he wants to win and is only turning down certain offers [Source 3].

Despite Fernandes' persistent denials, his future at Manchester United remains uncertain due to the team's poor performance in the 2024-25 season and the ongoing transfer window [Source 1].
