Ex-political incarcerate Alexander Klaskovsky has passed away.
Alex Was 46
Alex Klaskowski, a man with quite a history, has left us at the age of 46. His sister, Olga, took to Facebook to announce his passing.
"Gone too soon. I'm no longer a big sister. Sasha ascended to a better world," Olga Klaskovskaya penned down, expressing her grief.
In the comment section, she hinted at a possible heart issue as the culprit behind his sudden demise. The official cause of death, however, will only be confirmed post an autopsy.
Alexander, a former militia member until 2005, made headlines for his participation in a 2010 protest against the manipulation of presidential election results. According to the human rights center "Viasna", he was among the protesters identified on December 19, 2010. He was arrested at his residence on the night of December 21, 2010, and charged with inciting mass riots.
In May 2011, Judge Lyudmila Gracheva of the Leninsky District Court in Minsk handed him a 5-year sentence in a high-security prison.
Alexander served his time in Shklov Colony No. 17 and was eventually pardoned.
Rest In Peace, Alexander.
