Get ready for some serious entertainment, because Palina Rojinski (40) is taking the lead in a brand new TV series! This powerhouse talent will be gracing our screens in "My Ex," a six-part ZDFneo original series that's guaranteed to bring laughter and heartwarming moments. Rojinski couldn't contain her excitement, posting on Instagram, "I'm freakin' thrilled to finally introduce you to my character Ivy! It's hilarious and adorable as hell."
As a familiar face on German television, standing alongside Joko Winterscheidt (46) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (41), Rojinski has been making waves in the entertainment industry for some time now. Her acting career began alongside her television hosting gig, snagging roles in Simon Verhoeven's (52) two-part comedy "Men's Hearts" (2009 and 2011), Detlev Buck's (62) "Rubbeldiekatz" (2011), and Florian David Fitz's (50) "Jesus Loves Me" (2012).
Fast forward to today, and Rojinski continues to slay in the comedy world. She's held leading roles in "Dream Women" (2015) and "Nightlife" (2020) alongside Elyas M'Barek (43), and has graced the big screen with appearances in "Welcome to the Hartmanns" (2016), "Get Lucky - Sex Changes Everything" (2019), and "Grandparents for Beginners" (2020). The series is currently in production in the Czech Republic, where we'll follow the journey of Ivy, a successful thirty-something interior and set designer. With an impressive group of friends and a solid relationship with her father, there's only one thing missing for her happiness – romance! In search of her soulmate, Ivy visits a "Tarot and Astro" shop for a reading, which reveals a surprising prophecy: she's already met her perfect match, but they've parted ways. To avoid being alone forever, Ivy must find her one true love by the end of the summer.
The series isn't short on star power, either. According to the announcement, August Wittgenstein, Caro Daur, Alli Neumann, Benno Fürmann, Almila Bagriacik, and Tim Oliver Schultz will also appear in the show. We can't wait to see what this talented cast brings to the table!
