*** here we go, gang! ***

On his not-so-shining day, Shannon Sharpe, the once-revered, now-embattled NFL hero, finds himself ensnared in a maelstrom of allegations. It's a far cry from his days as a Hall of Famer, huh?

According to a previously unreported 2023 lawsuit, Sharpe's former significant other, Michele Bundy Evans, alleged their decade-long relationship disintegrated under a restraining order after Sharpe purportedly raped and vowed to destroy her if she ever spoke out. Yikes!

Evans opted to file a $4 million defamation lawsuit against Sharpe after he spoke publicly about their legal spat, following reports that she filed a restraining order accusing him of sexual assault and stalking, according to court docs obtained by The US Sun.

Fast forward to more recent times, another woman, under the pseudonym Jane Doe, leveled rape allegations against Sharpe in a $50 million civil lawsuit. The 56-year-old has denied these claims repeatedly.

Evans' lawsuit claimed that Sharpe forced her to her knees and sexually assaulted her, and then went on to rape her, all during a bitter argument. She asserted that she sought legal protection after the ex-Denver Bronco threatened to "ruin" her if she disclosed the troubling incident, according to the suit.

Curiously, the restraining order was dropped shortly after it was filed, as per CBS reports, with Evans claiming she was harassed at home—with her daughter no less—following her decision to take him to task.

Sharpe's legal team dismissed Evans' lawsuit, which is, as of now, still pending, as "nonsense."

"Michelle Evans' claims are childish and baseless," said Vincent Morris, Sharpe's attorney, in a statement to The Post. "She could not find a lawyer to take her case, and if you read her complaint, you'll see it is filled with nonsense. Shannon has had no contact with her for many years and we understand that she is still on probation after serving three years in prison."

In a twist, Evans fears for the safety of Sharpe's latest accuser, who filed her lawsuit on April 18, 2025, in a Nevada state court.

"I want people to understand what Shannon did to this woman, by outing her, by putting out her name, by putting out her OnlyFans account," Evans said to the Sun. "That was horrifying, because things are going to happen to her because of that. I still get it to this day, and I went through a lot of things, as you can see in the complaint, that actually stemmed from it."

The latest lawsuit alleges that Sharpe indulged in assault, battery, sexual battery, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress during their two-year affair.

The woman's legal team has published a pair of audio clips that assertedly feature Sharpe threatening to "choke" her.

Sharpe's lawyers have pushed back on these claims, asserting that the pair were engaged in a consensual relationship involving "role-playing" and "fantasy."

In a somewhat strange turn of events, the ESPN "First Take" star, who also stands accused of threatening to kill the woman and assaulting her in 2024 and 2025, announced his temporary leave from the sports network on April 5, 2025.

"My statement is found here and this is the truth. The relationship in question was 100% consensual," Sharpe, a former Baltimore Raven, wrote in a statement posted on social media. "At this juncture, I am electing to step aside temporarily from my ESPN duties. I will be devoting this time to my family, and responding and dealing with these false and disruptive allegations set against me. I plan to return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason."

ESPN concurred with Sharpe's decision to take leave.

Currently, Sharpe is facing multiple legal challenges related to sexual assault and defamation allegations, which he and his legal team have consistently denied. Let's wait and see how this all unfolds, folks!
