Laura Anderson, a reality TV star and mother of two-year-old Bonnie, has taken to Instagram to voice her concerns about the UK government's Child Maintenance Service (CMS) and her strained relationship with her ex-partner, Gary Lucy.
In a series of statements posted on Friday, Anderson questioned the fairness of the CMS for single parents and co-parents, particularly in cases where one parent is unemployed, runs a Limited Company, or fails to pay child maintenance. She also shared a critique of the CMS calculation system, expressing her dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs.
Anderson's post comes amidst a tumultuous relationship with Lucy, who she branded a 'deadbeat dad' following their split in 2023. The pair, who met while filming E4's Celebs Go Dating in 2022, have had a very strained relationship since their breakup.
In addition to her criticisms of the CMS, Anderson shared a series of messages she alleges have been sent to her from Lucy. These messages, sent via text messages, reportedly contained cruel remarks, with Lucy calling Anderson a 'nasty little cretin.'
Lucy's representatives have been contacted by The Sun for comment regarding Anderson's recent Instagram post, but no response has been reported as of yet.
In response to Lucy's alleged messages, Anderson took a swipe at him on Father's Day, expressing her feelings of being shunned on that day. She has also taken aim at him several times over their daughter Bonnie.
Interestingly, it has been reported that Lucy saved Anderson's number as 'Lucifer' in his phone. The search results do not provide any information about which person Anderson supposedly saved under the name 'Lucifer' in her phonebook.
Despite the challenges they have faced, Anderson and Lucy share a beautiful daughter named Bonnie. It remains to be seen how this latest development will impact their relationship moving forward.
