Revamped Report

Hear ye, hear ye! According to Poslovni Dnevnik, the former Croatian President, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, paid a visit to the devastated Radosevic family residing in Novi Seliste, near Petrinja. The heart-wrenching earthquake left the unfortunate family with nothing but a pile of rubble and broken memories. But, Kolinda's magic touch is bringing a glimmer of hope with the construction of a brand-new concrete house for them.

Ivica, the home's owner, sees a beacon of light after his meeting with Kolinda. In his words, "I thought my acquaintance was pulling my leg when he called, saying Kolinda would be visiting me the next day. I couldn't believe it. When I saw her standing in my yard, I couldn't help but beam. The whole family was overjoyed!"

Kolinda's visit, however, was not politically motivated as portrayed by Ivica, who emphasized, "I'm grateful for her help, but she's not here to play politics." He mentioned that Kolinda compassionately inquired about the recent Petrinja earthquake, the family, the neighborhood, and their needs, promising to return with experts to rebuild his house.

The Radosevic family's house was previously destroyed during the war and rebuilt by the state. The father of six voiced his concerns about the shoddy workmanship, "We were content with having a roof over our heads, but never expected the house to vanish in a blink of an eye." On the fateful day of the Petrinja earthquake, he was at work in the Petrinja cemetery.

A local resident shared, "We were floored when we saw Kolinda, as she strolled through the muddy yard, conversing with the neighboring children and even playing with their dog - a clear reminder of her beloved adopted dog, Kika. With a mask on and dressed like a regular worker, she was virtually indistinguishable from any other volunteer amidst us."

Kolinda's selfless act caught the eyes and hearts of locals, as she volunteered in the kitchen before Pleter took over the food supply, offering words of comfort and delivering essential supplies to those in need. A fellow volunteer shared, "Kolinda was just like us, a faceless helper with no self-promotion. She worked tirelessly without a break."
