EVRAZ funds new Kachkanar housing under Russia's national project

A new residential building has opened in Kachkanar, built with support from EVRAZ as part of Russia's national 'Housing' project. The development includes 45 apartments and marks another step in the city's ongoing growth. EVRAZ's investment in local infrastructure has also funded education, sports, and healthcare upgrades over the past seven years.

The newly completed building spans around 2,500 square metres and offers flats of different sizes. A parking area and a children's playground have been added for residents. Priority for the apartments will go to workers in healthcare and education, provided under employment contracts.

EVRAZ will benefit from tax deductions exceeding 350 million rubles for this housing project. The company's total investment in Kachkanar since 2017 has surpassed 3.6 billion rubles. These funds have supported the construction of a professional competencies centre, sports facilities, and the purchase of medical equipment. Construction of a second similar residential block is already in progress. By 2025, the city administration and EVRAZ plan to build six more buildings like this one. Additional projects include renovating cultural venues, upgrading hospital facilities, and improving the Valerianovsk settlement's infrastructure.

The new housing development strengthens Kachkanar's social infrastructure while supporting key public sector workers. With further residential blocks and facility upgrades planned, the city's partnership with EVRAZ continues to expand local amenities and services.
