Everyone knows that life isn't a walk in the park, even for Chris Martin. His recent outbursts online have caused quite the uproar, especially with the two individuals now embroiled in a digital storm.
In a recent performance at Gillette Stadium, Coldplay's concert took an unexpected turn when a man and a woman were caught on the jumbotron cuddling during the performance of "The Scientist." The line sung by Chris Martin, "Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions," has sparked speculation on social media about the identities and relationship status of the couple.
The video of the incident was shared on TikTok by Tom Santo, who captioned it, "Sorry to disappoint you @Olivia Rodrigo but that would be my sister." Rodrigo, who had a similar incident at her Sydney, Australia concert last October, responded with surprise, exclaiming, "She's your sister? Oh s**t! Oh s**t," expressing her surprise that such an incident had not happened before.
The man and woman in the video quickly separated and attempted to hide their faces when they realized they were on the giant screen. While their identities have not been verified, they have been identified as Andy Byron, the CEO of the AI firm Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company's Chief People Officer.
Byron's public praise of Cabot upon her joining the company in November 2024, highlighting her leadership and background in talent management, has added fuel to the speculation about their relationship. However, no official information has been released regarding their personal relationship status. Byron is a Providence College graduate and reportedly lives in Massachusetts with his family, which has contributed to the speculation about the nature of his relationship with Cabot.
This is not the first time a "kiss cam" has led to a tricky situation during a concert. In 2017, a similar incident occurred during a Milwaukee Bucks basketball game where an attendee had to mouth that the woman sitting next to him was his mother during a "kiss cam" shot.
CNN has reached out to a representative for Coldplay for comment, but as of yet, no official statement has been made. Chris Martin jokingly commented, "Whoa, look at these two. Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy."
As the "kiss cam" crowd shots pass quickly, the internet is forever, and the speculation continues to grow.
In the midst of the viral video shared by Tom Santo on TikTok, the couple identified as Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, both from Astronomer, were seen cuddling during Coldplay's performance of "The Scientist." Byron, the CEO of Astronomer, and Cabot, the Chief People Officer, have been publicly praised by Byron for her leadership and background in talent management, further fueling speculation about their relationship status.
