"Every time it's brought up, it's the center of discussion": Gibson hints at the launch of the P-90-equipped Les Paul, a model that Noel Gallagher has been playing during the Oasis reunion shows.

The guitar world has been abuzz with excitement over Noel Gallagher's custom-built 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard, a unique hybrid creation that has become a hot topic in the guitar community.

During Oasis's recent reunion shows, Gallagher emerged with this special guitar, causing a delirium and speculative frenzy among guitar enthusiasts. The black Les Paul model, with its SlimTaper neck profile, Custom Shop P-90s, and Light Aged magic from the Murphy Lab applied to its Ebony paint job, has captured the imagination of many.

Gibson is set to release a limited, UK-exclusive run of this black Les Paul model, available from Gibson Garage London, and Gallagher is signing each one. However, this is not officially a signature guitar model in the strictest sense but rather a special, limited-edition replica similar to Gibson's approach with Johnny Marr’s limited Les Paul replicas.

What sets this guitar apart is the aged-nickel covers on the P-90s, a challenging feature Gibson worked hard to replicate, emphasizing its custom-built and exclusive nature.

Lee Bartram, head of commercial, marketing, and cultural influence at Gibson EMEA, shared his emotions about seeing the guitar being used during the biggest reunion tour ever. He also revealed that the 1960 Les Paul Standard guitar was not originally intended for use during Oasis's reunion shows.

For those who are keen to get their hands on a similar guitar, there's good news. The custom-built 1960 Les Paul Standard guitar played by Noel Gallagher during Oasis's reunion shows is expected to be limited and created in a similar spirit as the 20 replicas of Johnny Marr's iconic Bigsby-equipped '84 Les Pauls.

If the budget-friendly option is more appealing, there's also the signature Epiphone Riviera available. The Gibson black custom-built 1960 Les Paul that Noel Gallagher plays is a specially modified, limited-edition hybrid guitar, not a formal signature model but closely associated with him through this exclusive release.
