The couple, who got married in September 2022 in Fargo, North Dakota, welcomed their first child together, son Shepherd Lawrence, in January 2024.
Duhamel spoke about his happiness with Audra Mari in an interview with US magazine "People." He described her as "an amazing woman," praising her as a great mom and a great role model. He expressed his certainty that he will be with Audra Mari "forever."
The couple's journey began when Duhamel noticed Audra Mari after she won some beauty pageants. Duhamel reached out to Audra Mari on social media and invited her to a barbecue. Their relationship blossomed from there, and they married in a lovely and joyful ceremony.
Duhamel's first marriage to Fergie ended in divorce in November 2019. They had a son named Axl Jack in 2013. Duhamel has noted a contrast in the nature of his relationships, highlighting how his marriage with Audra is a source of stability and happiness, emphasizing her qualities and their family life together, especially after his divorce from Fergie.
Audra Mari is praised for being a "great mother." Duhamel considers his wife to be "great luck." The couple is looking forward to their third wedding anniversary, which will be in September. Duhamel described Audra Mari as having "everything you could want in a woman."
