Metinteractive Transforms Tahoe Blue Event Center with Advanced AV Systems
Metinteractive, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric, has elevated the Tahoe Blue Event Center with cutting-edge audio-visual (AV) technology solutions. The multipurpose venue, set to be home to the Tahoe Knight Monsters ECHL professional minor league ice hockey team from the 2024-25 season, will now offer a wide array of events with high-quality production value and operational efficiency.
The comprehensive AV systems designed and installed by Metinteractive cater to diverse event types, from concerts and conferences to community events. High-quality sound systems, video displays, lighting control, and other integrated technologies have been tailored to the Tahoe Blue Event Center's unique needs.
Metinteractive's partnership with Mitsubishi Electric, a leader in professional-grade AV technology, has been instrumental in ensuring reliable, high-performance systems with seamless integration. The collaboration has resulted in a venue that boasts a robust AV infrastructure, enhancing both the visual and operational quality of the Tahoe Blue Event Center.
One of the key features of the installed systems is their flexibility and scalability. The Tahoe Blue Event Center can easily switch between different formats and event sizes without compromising quality, thanks to the scalable AV setups. This adaptability is crucial for the venue to accommodate various events with ease.
The technology solutions also include intuitive control interfaces, simplifying operation for venue staff and event organizers. This user-friendly design helps streamline event management and ensures consistent presentation quality.
In addition to the main LED scoreboard and 360-degree ribbon board, Metinteractive supplied and installed IPTV distribution, TV displays, broadcast replay, cable systems, LED display, and scoring systems throughout the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The public spaces, including digital signage content, have been enhanced with IPTV distribution.
Metinteractive's expertise in handling arenas, stadiums, and major corporate projects has been evident in the Tahoe Blue Event Center project. The venue's arena can accommodate up to 5,500 people for sports, concerts, and other live entertainment. Moreover, the Tahoe Blue Event Center features more than 50,000 square feet of flexible meeting, convention, and exhibition space.
Britt Morin developed the video production system design for the Tahoe Blue Event Center, while Scott Bray of WJHW was responsible for the sound and AV systems. Nick Dornford, an associate with WJHW, explained that the systems were designed to be flexible and futureproof. The equipment installed at the Tahoe Blue Event Center is at a high level, with no low-dollar solutions, according to Dornford.
Metinteractive remains available to help with customization needs for future events at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The Oak View Group, the project's recommender, also received training support from Metinteractive for the everyday usage of all equipment at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The Tahoe Blue Event Center is located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, NV.
