Events Spectrum Expanded: Metinteractive Delves into Conferences, Trade Fairs, and Professional Ice Hockey in Tahoe

The Tahoe Blue Event Center, located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, NV, has recently undergone a significant upgrade, thanks to the installation of a comprehensive audiovisual (AV) system by Metinteractive.

The extensive setup encompasses sound, video, lighting, and control systems, designed to deliver a world-class, immersive audiovisual experience for concerts, conferences, and special events.

Top-tier Audio Technology

Metinteractive's installation includes high-quality loudspeakers and microphones, capable of covering the entire venue for clear sound distribution. This ensures that every attendee, regardless of their seating location, can enjoy the audio quality.

Advanced Video Components

Multiple large LED displays and projectors have been positioned throughout the venue to provide excellent visuals to all audience areas. This includes the arena's main LED scoreboard, which was installed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric, and a 360-degree ribbon board.

Dynamic Lighting System

The lighting fixtures installed are programmable and capable of creating versatile moods and effects suitable for different events. This dynamic lighting system adds an extra layer of excitement and visual appeal to the venue.

Integrated Control System

Centralized and user-friendly interfaces allow operators to seamlessly manage audio, video, and lighting elements. This integrated control system ensures smooth operation during events, making it easier for staff to focus on delivering a memorable experience for attendees.

Expertise and Experience

Metinteractive brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, having handled arenas, stadiums, and major corporate projects coast to coast. They were recommended by Oak View Group for the Tahoe Blue Event Center project and worked closely with WJHW, the technical systems designers for the venue, to ensure a seamless integration of sound and AV systems.

Adjusting for Budgets

Metinteractive was also instrumental in helping adjust specifications to accommodate budgets for the Tahoe Blue Event Center project, while ensuring all equipment was at a high level. The technology used is first-rate and can be easily added onto in the future, providing flexibility for future upgrades.

Training and Support

Oak View Group received training support from Metinteractive for the everyday usage of all equipment at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. This comprehensive training ensures that the staff can operate the systems efficiently and effectively.

Praises and Accolades

Nick Dornford, an associate with WJHW, praised Metinteractive for their work on the Tahoe Blue Event Center project, calling it "ambitious" and "fun." The Tahoe Blue Event Center is owned by the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority and managed by Oak View Group.

Capacity and Flexibility

The Tahoe Blue Event Center features more than 50,000 square feet of flexible meeting, convention, and exhibition space. The venue's 4,200-seat arena can accommodate up to 5,500 people, making it a versatile space for a wide range of events.
