The Tahoe Blue Event Center, located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, NV, has undergone a significant transformation, thanks to a partnership with Metinteractive. This leading technology solutions provider has equipped the venue with a comprehensive suite of AV systems, enhancing its flexibility and functionality.

The partnership with Mitsubishi Electric saw the installation of a state-of-the-art audio system, large-format LED screens, high-definition projectors, integrated lighting controls, networked control systems, and robust wireless connectivity and microphones. These technological advancements offer versatile visual options and high-quality sound, suitable for a wide range of events from concerts to corporate presentations.

Nick Dornford of WJHW, the technical systems designers for The Tahoe Blue Event Center, praised the project as fun and ambitious, with no low-dollar solutions and high-level equipment. Metinteractive's involvement was instrumental in this transformation, as they have experience handling arenas, stadiums, and major corporate projects coast to coast, including other Oak View Group properties.

The 4,200-seat arena can accommodate up to 5,500 people for various events like sports, concerts, and live entertainment. With these new AV systems in place, the venue is now more adaptable, capable of quick reconfiguration to accommodate different event types, sizes, and technical requirements.

The integration of control systems ensures efficient operation, while the high-quality audio-visual components enhance the overall experience for attendees and presenters alike. This comprehensive AV infrastructure positions The Tahoe Blue Event Center as a modern, adaptable venue capable of supporting a wide range of event needs.

The Tahoe Knight Monsters ECHL professional minor league ice hockey team will call the Tahoe Blue Event Center home beginning with the 2024-25 season. The venue is owned by the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority and managed by Oak View Group. Oak View Group received training support from Metinteractive for the everyday usage of all equipment at the Tahoe Blue Event Center.

Metinteractive assisted Oak View Group in setting up and programming the scoreboard before the first youth hockey event at the Tahoe Blue Event Center remotely. The staff reported that Metinteractive has been accommodating in making all systems work as needed. IPTV distribution in the public spaces, including digital signage content, was also installed by Metinteractive.

Metinteractive, in partnership with Mitsubishi, installed the arena's main LED scoreboard and 360-degree ribbon board. Scott Bray of WJHW developed the sound and AV systems for the Tahoe Blue Event Center, while Britt Morin developed the video production system design. Metinteractive supplied and installed AV systems for the Tahoe Blue Event Center, which include IPTV distribution, TV displays, broadcast replay, cable systems, LED display, and scoring systems.

The Tahoe Blue Event Center also boasts more than 50,000 square feet of flexible meeting, convention, and exhibition space. Metinteractive will continue to help Oak View Group each step of the way with customized technology needs, ensuring the venue remains at the forefront of modern event facilities.

The Tahoe Blue Event Center, with the integration of Metinteractive's digital signage features, offers flexible content display across public spaces, providing users with up-to-date information during trade shows, events, and sports matches. The versatility of the audio-visual systems, seen in their successful implementation in arenas, stadiums, and corporate projects, was demonstrated effectively during the first youth hockey event at the venue. Metinteractive's ongoing collaboration with Oak View Group ensures that the venue's technology will continue to evolve, making it a cutting-edge facility for digital signage, sound, and visual performances for various events, such as sports matches like hockey.
