Events Galore in Tahoe: From Business Gatherings to Ice Hockey, Metinteractive Has It All Covered

The Tahoe Blue Event Center, nestled on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, NV, is set to become a premier destination for events of all kinds, thanks to a comprehensive suite of AV systems and technology installed by Metinteractive.

The 4,200-seat arena, capable of accommodating up to 5,500 people for various events, will soon be the new home of the Tahoe Knight Monsters ECHL professional minor league ice hockey team, starting from the 2024-25 season.

Metinteractive's installation includes high-definition video displays and projection systems, state-of-the-art audio systems, integrated control systems, innovative lighting solutions, and a networked AV infrastructure. This technology has significantly elevated the overall attendee experience with superior audiovisual presentations and supports a wide range of event formats, from corporate meetings to large-scale performances.

The collaboration has also enhanced operational efficiency, allowing event staff to easily control and adjust AV elements. This, coupled with the venue's flexibility, has demonstrated the Tahoe Blue Event Center as a year-round destination for conferences, entertainment, and youth sports.

The advanced technology has also attracted high-profile events and clients due to the venue’s cutting-edge capabilities. As a result, the Tahoe Blue Event Center has increased its versatility and reputation as a premier event destination in the region.

Scott Bray developed the sound and AV systems for the Tahoe Blue Event Center, while Britt Morin designed the video production system. Metinteractive partnered with Mitsubishi Electric to provide LED displays and devise a video production environment for the venue. WJHW, the technical systems designers for The Tahoe Blue Event Center, worked with Metinteractive on the sound and AV systems for the venue.

Notably, Metinteractive was able to help Oak View Group remotely set up and program the scoreboard before the first youth hockey event at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. They also adjusted specifications to accommodate budgets during the project.

Oak View Group, the managers of the Tahoe Blue Event Center, received training support from Metinteractive for the everyday usage of all equipment at the venue. The Tahoe Blue Event Center is owned by the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority.

The technology installed by Metinteractive at the Tahoe Blue Event Center can be easily added onto in the future, ensuring the venue remains at the forefront of AV technology. This collaboration has ensured that the Tahoe Blue Event Center delivers top-tier AV performance, making it a standout venue in the competitive event space market.

  1. At the Tahoe Blue Event Center, digital signage and high-definition video displays, a feature provided by Mitsubishi Electric, will enable the arena to showcase advertisements for trade shows and sporting events such as the upcoming hockey season of the Tahoe Knight Monsters.
