Event taking place this Saturday, 23rd March, at Neuss Youth Home, featuring music and entertainment
In the heart of Neuss, the annual event "Rock against the Right" is set to make a significant return to the city's cultural calendar. This year, the event will take place at the Haus der Jugend, located at Hamtorwall 18, beginning at 6 PM.
Since its inception in 2016, "Rock against the Right" has stood as a staunch opponent to racism and right-wing extremism, using the power of music to raise awareness and funds for worthy causes. This year, all proceeds from the event will be donated to the sea rescue action "Seawatch" and to non-profit projects in Neuss.
The musical lineup for this year's event is impressive, featuring a diverse range of bands from across Germany. Jokers Kingdom, an Alternative Rock band from Dortmund, will be performing, along with Mazed, a Punk band from Mudershausen, and Raffnix, a Punk band from Aachen. The German-Greek rock band Deep Ya Deep from Düsseldorf, Pop-Punk band Mary in Vertigo from Mülheim an der Ruhr, and Punkrock band Die lieben Löwen from Dortmund will also be gracing the stage.
Admission to the event requires a minimum donation of 8 Euros, making it an accessible and engaging way for the community to support a worthy cause while enjoying live music.
"Rock against the Right" is more than just a concert; it's a movement. By attending this event, you're not only enjoying music but also standing with others against racism and right-wing extremism. Other than the music performances, "Rock against the Right" is also an opportunity for entertainment and raising awareness about anti-racism and anti-right wing extremism causes. This year, the event will offer a diverse range of music genres, including Alt-Rock, Punk, and even a German-Greek rock band.
